"My one goal in life is to kill Karla. She tore my family apart."

I found this image on a Tumblr blog, Serial Killer Confessions.  Followers of this blog submit "confessions" related to notorious murderers; the author posts a selection of these submissions along with an accompanying image.

I wonder if the story behind this "confession" is for real?

If so, the vicious web has claimed yet another unsuspecting passerby.

  1. Nah, this doesn't jive. If the mother had killed herself when she found out what happened there would have been news about "good friend of Homolka's kills self" this story was that sensationalized.

    1. I tend to agree, but it sure makes for interesting Tumblr-diving!

  2. If this is true I would gladly point this person in the direction of Karla Homolka's residence or whereabouts in Guadeloupe! Some have argued that revealing Homolkas address & activities will push her further underground, but I believe she needs full public exposure no matter the consequences. She raped tortured & murdered 3 young girls. I mean c'mon! If she were a male partner in crime like Otis Toole who went on a rape & murder spree, she would have been dead within the first few months of freedom from prison.

    1. I'm not entirely sure that underground is such a bad place for Karla Homolka to be. After all, isn't that where one would expect to find a vile criminal who had escaped the full consequences of her deplorable actions?

I want her to have the life that Debby Mahaffy envisioned for her, where she feels she has to be constantly looking over her shoulder because she has done TERRIBLE things. I don't think anybody who lived through the horrors of this trial would ever have expected to find her stretched out in the sunshine, living the same way (or better) than those of us who have spent our entire lives living on the right side of the law and basic human decency.

As for blowing her cover on the parenting sites she frequented, I don't completely buy into the fact that she was there to soak up all the valuable parenting info -- from what I've read of her postings, it was actually the other way around. Her comments often reek of know-it-all-ism and ego boosting. I believe she was there to give HER opinion, and to put on airs: just as she has always done.

I still don't think that much has changed with Karla, if anything at all. I don't think she will ever kill again, but that doesn't even come close to making up for the fact that Tammy, Leslie, and Kristen are dead because of her.

  3. I believe she would kill again - even her own kids - depending on the situation & if it benefitted her in some way or if she saw it as a means of achieving something that she wants. She's concerned about public image now & probably wouldn't harm her kids because she knows she's being watched, but I shudder to think what could happen behind closed doors or outside the spotlight of public scrutiny.

    1. I don't know... she really seems to treat those children like gold; they are hers, after all. Karla Homolka has always been fiercely protective of her possessions.

The thing with Karla is, given her history, almost anything could happen. Reasonable hypothesis can be tossed out the window when discussing this harpy.
